Yelapa has been said to be a vortex of energy and because of this it lends itself beautifully for healing and transformation. Yelapa is a place to reconnect with your authentic self and thrive in the present moment. Fishing and tourism are the main sources of income for the Yelapa locals, and this will be the first festival of its kind to take place in this magical jungle-beach vortex.
YELAPA IS A MAGICAL BAY LOCATED ON THE WEST COAST OF JALISCO, MEXICO. WHERE THE PACIFIC OCEAN MEETS THE LUSH JUNGLE MOUNTAINS KNOWN BY THE LOCALS AS THE “SIERRA madre”. YELAPA FORMS PART OF THE INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY OF CABO CORRIENTES, ONE OF THE FEW REMAINING PLACES ON EARTH WHERE THE ORIGINAL INHABITANTS STILL RESIDE ON, OWN AND CONTROL THEIR OWN LANDS.
